CARMARTHEN Quins ended a run of fourstraight defeats, inflicting a fifth away defeat in a row on RGC.
RGC lock Bryn Jones celebrated his 100th appearance for the North Wales team by setting up a late try for Dion Jones, the outside-half adding the conversion to put his side within a point before they ran out of time.
Quins outside-half Steffan Marshall got the penalties that proved crucial as RGC outscored them in tries, five to four.
