PONTYPOOL picked up another five points as they ruthlessly disposed of bottom of the table Tata Steel with 10 tries in a 62-0 away win. The bad news for the home side is they have to travel to Pontypool Park this weekend for the return fixture.
Skipper Scott Matthews once again led the way with two tries and there was also a brace for fellow back row man Ieuan Jones. The other tries came from Mathew Powell, Adam Brown, Mike Herbert, Dai Langdon, Huw Anderson and Joel Mahoney, with Langdon kicking six conversions.
