Cardiff Met took advantage of their 3G pitch at Cyncoed to ward off the cold weather and get back to their winning ways, defeating Tata Steel 36-20 and edging ahead of Ystrad Rhondda into a top six spot in the Championship.
The Archers started the game strongly, scoring an early try through former Wales u20s and Ospreys Academy player Benji Williams. Tom Cotton then scored two quick tries from the back of the maul to give Met the lead.
