Cardiff Met versus Cross Keys was the only Championship game to survive this weekend’s temperatures as the Archers secured an impressive 39-26 win.
Cardiff Met scored two early tries through Alex Terry and Horrace Hopper before the visitors hit back when Tom Lampard stormed over the line.
Gus Patterson extended Cardiff Met’s lead to 17-7, with Evans adding the conversion. Louis Tovey replied for the visitors, scoring after a strong maul.
