Championship round-up

IT WAS an exciting opening round of the WRU Championship Cup, as teams look to emulate the success of Neath, who lifted the trophy last year during finals day.
The cup often brings up some magic and surprises, and yesterday was no different.
Cross Keys emerged victorious over Cardiff Met in a tightly contested game at Pandy Park. Keys led 10-5 at half-time, before the home side held off a strong Archers comeback.
Cardiff Met led with just 15 minutes to go, but Adam Tetley helped guide his side home.
