THERE was to be no fairytale farewell for Merthyr head coach Dale McIntosh, who’s heading to Brecon this summer, as his side lost at the death to the Wizards in a 13-try thriller.
Aberavon, who had secured the bonus point within 20 minutes and added a fifth before the break to lead 33-19, had their captain, Joe Tomalin-Reeves sent off on the half hour after a fracas with opposing captain Craig Locke, who saw yellow.
