CROSS Keys ground out a hard-fought victory over a well-drilled Maesteg Harlequins side at Pandy Park.
The game was played in difficult conditions making it a war of attrition, with defences very much on top.
Joe Thomas opened the scoring for Morgan Stoddard’s Cross Keys side as he beat two defenders to touch down. Cross Keys’ pack began to gain the upper hand with Zach Bartlett powering over from short range for their second try.
