BARGOED continued to show their ultra-consistent form as they made it six league wins out of six in with a routine 26-3 victory over Ystalyfera.
The Bulls are now seven points clear at the top but they did not have it all their own way.
Ystalyfera put up a defiant showing in the first half and trailed Bargoed by only four points at the halfway stage.
Ultimately, Bargoed’s attacking flair and conviction was the difference between the two sides in what was the only league match of the weekend.
