Rumney keeping St Peter’s at bay

RUMNEY solidified their position at the top of Division One East Central with a comfortable 29-10 home win over Barry.
They currently hold a slender one-point lead at the top of the table, but second-placed St Peters’ comprehensive 32-5 victory over Rhiwbina has put significant pressure on them.
A Hugh Humphreys try for Rhiwbina wasn’t enough, as Ryan Newton, Sam Newton, Jack Roberts and Harry Thorpe all crossed for tries for St Peters.
