Bid to beat the storm fails as rivals slog it out

THESE rivals braved Storm Dennis to play out a draw in Colwyn Bay.
Kick-off was brought forward by three hours to avoid the worst, but it didn’t work as the game was played in dreadful conditions. A draw was fair, with second-placed Quins playing the better rugby while RGC had the upper hand up front.
Quins started strongly, with Scarlets scrum-half Jonathan Evans sniping down the blindside to run in unopposed.
