DUNCAN Hodge was left wondering what his side might have achieved, as Edinburgh’s brave comeback fell just short at Kingspan Stadium.
Tries from Magnus Bradbury and Stuart McInally before the break kept Edinburgh in touch, despite Ulster’s four-try romp before half-time. But the hosts failed to score in the second-half, while Damien Hoyland’s try and a Sam Hidalgo-Clyne penalty gave Edinburgh a losing bonus.
