Lions 26-7 Connacht: South African hosts in league of their own

Connacht's play-off hopes were dealt a blow with a second consecutive defeat in South Africa.
The Lions ran in three tries in a comfortable win in South Africa that leaves Connacht down in 14th place.
In contrast to Connacht’s dramatic 34-29 defeat by the Stormers last weekend, when there were eight first-half tries, the opening 40 minutes in Johannesburg provided only one score to back row Renzo du Plessis on 14 minutes.
Fly-half Kade Wolhuter missed the conversion but added two penalties to see Lions ahead 11-0 at the break.
