Nohamba stars as Lions finish strong

Sanele Nohamba scored 20 points as the Lions beat Zebre in Pretoria to end their URC season on a high.
While the quality of the defence left a lot to be desired, both teams showed plenty of enterprise in attack. Wing Simone Gesi scored a first-half hat-trick for the Italians, while Edwill van der Merwe scored two of the Lions’ five tries before the break.
Jaco Kriel, playing in his final URC match, also crossed the line in the first half, and his team went to the break with a 31-22 lead.
