An England World Cup winner is playing a key role in the emergence of one of Wales’ rising Test stars.
Simon Hardy, a lineout specialist with Sir Clive Woodward’s all conquering World Cup winning side of 2003, has been enlisted by the Ospreys to hone the throwing in technique of hooker Dewi Lake.
Former Wales U20 captain Lake, who has switched from No.8 into an all-action hooker, has been having one-to-one coaching with Hardy to improve a vital area of his new game.
