Jacob Stockdale made a successful return to action for his first game in a year and while the Irish winger didn’t get on the scoresheet, his Ulster side were never troubled by a poor Connacht side at Kingspan.
Ulster won by five tries to one and should have triumphed by much more but they were far from lethal in a game where they were on top for most of it.
Ulster dominated the opening half and were good value for their 14-3 lead as Connacht had to defend for long periods of a half littered with mistakes by both sides.
