‘New era’ dawns for re-named Dragons RFC

Newport-based Dragons are to rebrand as "Dragons RFC", in a move to designed to build the identity of the club.
Dragons, who finished second-from bottom in this season's United Rugby Championship, have also changed their logo to include three fleurs-de-lis, symbolic throughout the club's region.
“Our new name makes it clear – we are a rugby club,” the Dragons said in a statement.
“This is a message we know strikes home with our supporters. We all see ourselves as a club, and we feel strongly about that.
