Championship clubs seeking more talks

Championship clubs have called for more talks with the RFU and claim they face being pushed into bankruptcy unless they receive a fairer deal in negotiations.
New proposals that are due to start from 2025 have yet to be agreed and the Championship clubs insist the terms of the proposed Professional Game Partnership risk dividing the game “to the detriment of the sport in England”.
