Cornish Pirates’ coach Gavin Cattle believes this season’s success for the Penzance-based club is a clear indicator that Cornwall could sustain a Premiership outfit if “a real pathway existed”.
Despite huge off-field uncertainty and financial constraints, Cattle and his long-term coaching partner Alan Paver have pulled off a minor miracle in turning the Pirates into serious Championship title contenders.
