Darren Fearn is thought to be Doncaster Knights’ first-choice as new forwards coach as the Championship club continue to reshape their coaching team.
Following the departure of Steve Boden last month, Lions legend Sir Ian McGeechan has come on board as consultant DoR and mentor to head coach Joe Ford.

And now the Knights are on the look-out for someone to galvanise their pack, Boden’s area of expertise.
Yorkshire-born Fearn, 35, above, played professional rugby for seven years, with stints at Newcastle, Bedford, Saracens and Sale.
