It's been an unhappy new year for Nottingham as a record flood in the Lady Bay area last week has put the club in dire straits.
The Championship side cannot cover clean-up costs through insurance and have launched an urgent crowd-funding campaign to raise £50,000.
Chairman Alistair Bow revealed that the club had been offered no financial support from the RFU, who only enquired for evidence of why their proposed fixture at home to London Scottish on Friday had to be postponed.
