Three years ago Caldy players could only have dreamt of competing in the Championship, but the Merseyside club are on a roll having picked up three wins from their last four.
Next up are title favourites Ealing Trailfinders and Caldy wing Ben Jones is confident they can cause an upset on Saturday.
Caldy, who were promoted to the Championship in 2022 for the first time, went into the Christmas break on a high following victories at home to London Scottish, away at Ampthill, and title contenders Doncaster last time out in a 24-19 win at Paton Field.
