Coventry show right style to pull in crowds

Rugby attendances are mostly on the decline in the top two divisions in England, but Coventry’s scintillating style of play is getting fans in their droves through the gates at Butts Park.
Following a disappointing loss to Ampthill, Alex Rae’s side made amends last weekend with a 51-7 demolition of title rivals Doncaster in front of an impressive crowd of 3,417, which was comfortably double the second highest Championship attendance last weekend, at Cornish Pirates v Caldy (1,454).
