Doncaster continue to struggle at Castle Park where they lost for the third time in succession in the closest of games which, arguably, they should have won.
With the Pirates leading the toughest of battles 14-13 as it stretched into added time, Doncaster scrum-half Alex Dolly had the opportunity to win the match, but his penalty from more than 40 metres flew wide so Pirates survived and travelled back to Penzance with four points.
