Eight-try Amps flick switch in second half

IT WAS another tough afternoon for Yorkshire Carnegie as they suffered an eight-try defeat to Ampthill at Emerald Headingley Stadium.
Despite conceding over 50 points once again, director of rugby Phil Davies spoke highly of the first half performance.
He said: “I know it sounds ridiculous but our defensive set up was pretty good, despite what the scoreline says.
