NOTTINGHAM overturned a slow start to win an entertaining match to put a smile on the face of head coach Neil Fowkes after a tough week.
“I’m proud of the squad and everyone at the club in the way we’ve responded,” Fowkes said in reference to the savage cutbacks in funding for Championship clubs announced by the RFU.
Nottingham overcame conceding two tries in the first 21 minutes to win by five tries to four, Hartpury collecting two more in the final ten minutes to earn two bonus points.
