A LAST minute try against the run of play by replacement wing Josh Gillespie made the game safe for Ampthill as Scottish looked to get within range to strike for the winner.
Trailing 6-5, Scottish were on a rare visit into the Ampthill half when the ball went loose and Louis Grimoldby hacked clear. He chased his own kick and hacked into the in-goal area for Gillespie to win the foot race and touch down.
Grimoldby converted from a wide angle with the last kick of the game.
