BEDFORD Blues’ indifferent season took a turn for the better as they showed character in adversity to deny London Scottish in west London.
Having won just one of their seven previous league games this season, Bedford were again haunted by the spectre of defeat after Scottish went 14-0 up inside the first quarter.
However, the visitors drew level at the break following tries from Rich Lane and Ryan Hutler, before Dean Adamson’s sparkling second-half effort gave the visitors a seven-point cushion.
