AMPTHILL head coach Paul Turner hailed his benchmen as a dramatic late Billy Johnson try clinched victory over near rivals Bedford.
Turner was not so happy with his side’s discipline after conceding 17 penalties, but he said: “No-one would have believed it ten years ago that Ampthill would be hosting Bedford in a competitive game at Dillingham Park.
