NOTTINGHAM finished the game in red hot form on a freezing afternoon in West Yorkshire. They ran in five tries in the final 15 minutes to secure a home quarter-final by topping the Pool on points difference with a last minute eighth try.
The match was marred when Yorkshire prop Alex Reid suffered a back injury in the opening minutes of the second half. There was a lengthy delay while he received treatment, with both teams heading back to the dressing rooms to keep warm while Reid was taken from the field to hospital.
