DONCASTER fly-half Sam Olver secured a vital win for the Knights with five penalties and a conversion to restore his team’s confidence after two successive league defeats.
Olver’s boot punished Bedford’s indiscipline in a close contest between two sides struggling in the wrong half of the Championship.
In wet conditions, Olver’s early strikes gave Doncaster the initiative, and his three penalties late in the second half proved to be crucial.
