JERSEY boss Harvey Biljon praised his side’s defiant, defensive display as they were forced to show real character against a probing Doncaster Knights.
Just six days on from conceding more than a half century of points at Ealing, Biljon’s men kept a clean sheet against a Knights team that had large amounts of possession and territory during the first hour.
Despite Doncaster’s early dominance, Reds were 8-0 ahead at the break after captain Josh Bainbridge crashed over from a lineout move and Brendan Cope struck a penalty.
