‘Error-free’ Ealing end Islanders’ winning run

SUPERB control of the game in the face of atrocious conditions saw Ealing claim an away win to savour and end Jersey’s 10-match winning run.
Having achieved only a seven-point lead by halftime after having a gale-force wind at their back, the Trailfinders gritted their teeth and dominated the second half to avenge a home defeat by the Reds four weeks previously.
