NOTTINGHAM recorded a notable triumph over high-flying Ealing thanks to another speedy display led by their emerging backline.
Backed up by a pack who finished in control, Nottingham’s supporters celebrated a fourth successive home triumph for the first time in the Championship since the team moved to Lady Bay nearly three years ago. “They wanted it more than us,” was Ben Ward’s simple assessment. The Ealing DoR accepted his team had made too many mistakes, including a high penalty count.
