Lay boosts Bristol front row stocks

SAMOA prop James Lay has joined Bristol on a short-term loan to cover Pat Lam’s injury-hit front row resources.
The tighthead arrives from Bay of Plenty, days after it was confirmed that his brother, Jordan, had signed for Bristol ahead for next season.
Lam said: “We’re still having issues in the front row. James is an international prop from New Zealand, who plays for Samoa. He’s got four caps and played in the Autumn internationals.
