THIS exciting Yorkshire derby, in which both sides scored four tries, was dominated by a red card on the stroke of half time to Doncaster lock Nick Civetta for a dangerous head tackle scrum-half Will Homer.
Doncaster, leading 15-13 when Civetta was dismissed, were reduced to 14 men for the second half but remarkably it seldom showed.
Indeed, Doncaster fought so hard to add to their first half scores – a penalty try, a touch down by winger Curtis Wilson and a penalty – that they led until the 80th minute after tries from centres Will Owen and Mat Clark.
