PLYMOUTH made the long trip north to Darlington Mowden Park worth while, with Ethan Burger securing a hat-trick .
In perfect conditions for rugby, it was a close start to the game with both teams showing good attacking play.
Plymouth eventually broke through after 20 minutes through Joel Broadhurst, converted by Diaz Dart.
Plymouth pressed on with another two tries in quick succession from Robert Wigginton and Jake Clemson as Mowden struggled to get a hold in the game, taking the scores to 0-19 at half-time.
