DARLINGTON Mowden Park were looking to bounce back from their heavy loss at Leicester against another team just above them in Bishop’s Stortford, but it was not to be.
It was the visitors who started fastest out of the blocks pressing Mowden and scoring an early breakaway try through Jake Morris, with Chris Smith adding a second in similar fashion.
Mowden tried to steady the ship and pressed forwards, with Ruben Parsons powering through the Stortford defence to get them onto the scoresheet.
