With the clock showing red, Esher’s Conor Ganley crashed through from short range to secure full points in a close encounter.
With never more than a converted score the difference, it came down to the final play, with Sam Morley’s simple conversion bringing the final whistle.
Owen Waters opened the scoring for the visitors from a clever kick, before Tighe Maxwell-Whiteley brought the hosts level, finishing in the right corner.
