IN a game that almost felt like a must-win fixture for a Darlington Mowden Park side yet to taste victory this season, they responded with a first-half blitz to set them up well to see off Leicester Lions yesterday afternoon.
Early exchanges saw Leicester open the scoring with a penalty from Luke Bouchier, immediately followed by Mowden’s first try of the afternoon through Marcus Tiffen, converted by Joshua Ree.
