RICHMOND rattled up a half-century of points with a dominant display at Esher.

The visitors started quickly and opened the scoring through Franklin McMillan after seven minutes.

A second followed when Jake Monsoon’s pass put William Goffey under the posts. Callum Grieve converted.

Richmond bagged their third when they worked it wide for Chidera Obonna to cross. Grieve again converted.

The bonus-point try came when silky hands put Paddy Chase over.

The visitors scored soon after half-time as Richmond’s maul powered over for Goffey’s second converted try.

Then Callum Freeman crashed over, with the conversion making it 38-0.

Esher hit back when quick passes saw Myles Rawstron Rudd go over in the corner, but Sam Morley couldn’t convert.

James Botterill then found a bit of space and stepped brilliantly to score Esher’s second, with Morley converting.

Richmond responded when Alex Schwarz scored from close range before they turned on the style with excellent hands to put star man Monsoon under the posts and Grieve converted.

A miss-pass by Morley sent Botterill away for his second to complete the scoring.
