LEICESTER Lions secured their first win of the season in a tough contest against Sedgley Park who nearly stole victory at the end of the game.
The home side started brightly and were rewarded with an early converted try out wide for star man Jake Sterland.
The Tigers got on the scoreboard shortly after through an Oliver Glasse penalty, but Sterland grabbed his second to extend the Lions’ lead.
