AN excellent game, fast, furious and physical saw Blackheath leading for all bar an eight-minute spell in the second period when Park, who were never out of it, looked to be gaining the ascenmetres out. visitors then suffered a in front dancy, only for the Club to finish strongly and claim a bonus-point win.

The hosts made easily the best start, Oskar Hirshyj-Douglas putting Oli Burgess through for the first try, Tom Ffitch adding the conversion to his second-minute penalty.

Tevita Cavubati drove across for a 15-0 lead, but although Blackheath had the better of the line-out, disrupting promising Park attacks, the visitors had the edge at the which provided the platform for Matt Gordan to score next to the uprights and reduce the arrears to 15-7 at the half-time break.
