LEICESTER Lions got back to winning ways on a heavy Westleigh Park pitch against a Sedgley Tigers side who battled hard all afternoon.
It was the visitors who started better and were rewarded when Warren Seals slotted a penalty for an early lead.
The Lions dominated the remainder of the first half though, and got their first try through a Fin Ogden break off a line-out play after 24 minutes.
This was quickly followed by a score from Johnny Murdoch when he broke from a driving maul close to the Sedgley line.
