Blackheath head coach James Shanahan says a supporter asked whether his side could drive around for an hour and turn up to home games in their away kit such is their poor form at home this season.
Shanahan’s promoted side have won just three of their eight games at Blackheath Sports Club this season, including defeats to bottom side Bishop’s Stortford on the opening day, as well as reverses to fellow strugglers Sale FC and Leicester Lions.
