A SCRAPPY but tightly contested game was, ultimately, decided by a last-minute penalty, which just drifted wide. Four-try Richmond claimed the points, but three-try Taunton will rue their luck.
Richmond got off to an ideal start, with a try in the corner by Hamish Graham who chipped the last defender.
However, Taunton dominated possession for the next half hour as Richmond suffered frailties at the line-out and inconsistent results from the scrum.
