A NARROW, but deserved, and much-needed victory for the side who started the day at the foot of National League One.
Leicester Lions were ahead after just two minutes as Jamel Hamilton was put across by Dan Lewis.
Jake Lloyd recovered a loose pass to send a grubber-kick through for Markus Burcham to ground for a converted score, giving Blackheath the lead but, after 32 minutes, a poor kick from defence saw the ball moved wide and Hamilton put James Stubbs in.
