STORTFORD started slowly and, apart from periods of stout backsto-the-wall defence offered little.
Plymouth could have been out of sight by half-time, but failed to capitalise on several line-outs and depended for their two tries on wearing down the home defence by hanging onto the ball – afeat, sadly, beyond Stortford.
