Despite being on the back foot at half-time, a powerful second-half display kept alive Esher’s hopes of staying up.
With both teams playing running rugby, despite the conditions, it was the visitors who opened the scoring thanks to a penalty from Connor Lloyd.
Esher were next to score, with the forwards sending the ball wide for winger Harri Lang to score in a corner. Though the conversion was unsuccessful, Sam Morley atoned minutes later, hitting the target with two penalties in the space of 10 minutes....
