Cambridge kept themselves in the hunt for a late title push, but were unable to record a bonus-point victory over a spirited Chinnor side.
Richie Williams’ team made it six wins in a row in National 1, with Kieran Frost leading the victory charge.
But they could only score three tries in Oxfordshire, meaning they now trail leaders Rams by ten points.
