Sam Morley’s consistent kicking proved the difference as Esher claimed victory over Plymouth Albion in an entertaining eight-try encounter.
Morley’s 30-metre penalty started Esher’s points scoring after three minutes.
A quick-tap penalty from Albion scrum-half Henry Clement caught Esher off guard as he ran over the try line, yet his efforts were deemed too early and Esher kicked the penalty to touch. A subsequent rolling maul ended with a try for Albion hooker James Salter.
